All animal caregivers must meet certain requirements: 

• Be at least 18 yrs old.
• Be an AWARE member ($30 one-time membership fee that will be refunded at request upon completion of commitment).
• Have a current tetanus vaccination.
• Have all of their own animals vaccinated, whether they believe in it or not.
• Have their own transportation.
• Do laundry, dishes, clean up poop, paint, repair cages, handle animals, blow leaves, or whatever the need is.
• Sign a waiver that relieves AWARE of any liability for injury or illness.
